Bedoukian Research, Inc. has earned a Silver EcoVadis Medal for a second year in a row, having earned its first medal in 2021 due to continued efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility.
The rating measures the quality of a company’s management systems through its policies, actions and results. EcoVadis measures companies using a scorecard that provides a clear overview of the strengths and points of improvements in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Bedoukian Research’s 2022 score places it in the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.
Robert Bedoukian, president of BRI commented, “One of our priorities at Bedoukian is to become a leader in sustainability. We carefully assess and implement programs designed to make our operations more sustainable, improve the environment now and in the future, work with responsible suppliers and to ensure that everyone at Bedoukian is committed to ethical practices. By working with EcoVadis we are able to quantify our improvements in these areas so that we can continue to take steps to further enhance our sustainability. To be recognized with the Silver EcoVadis medal, for two years in a row, indicates we are doing what is needed as a company and that, in turn, will have a positive impact on our industry and, more importantly, our planet.”
