Italian fashion house Brioni and French glassmaker Lalique announced the launch of Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume, a limited edition collaboration.
The collaboration was announced at Salone del Mobile to commemorate Brioni’s 80th anniversary. The fragrance features a crystal flacon in the shape of an octagonal prism and an internal formation that refracts light like a glacier’s crystalline facets. The flacon was crafted using cire-perdue, an ancient lost-wax technique.
“The individual, rare elements that have come together in a perfect storm to create Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume have captured the beauty of the sublime,” said Brioni design director Norbert Stumpfi. “This collaboration between our maisons became one of shared passion, representing everything we stand for: a dedication to time, the selection of precious raw materials, exquisite artisanry and the difference that human touch makes. It is more than just a design; it is a celebration of absolute luxury taking the very best of craft.”
Laliquee artistic and creative director Marc Larminaux added, “Behind Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume lies the passion and creativity of our two maisons. The know-how and extraordinary skills of the Lalique glassmakers have made this wonderful piece of art a reality. It represents our shared values and a true testimony in our constant search for excellence in beauty.”
Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume will be limited to 18 signed flacons. Each flacon holds a volume of 340 mL and will retail for £33,500.
