1. Givaudan Introduces House of Naturals to Develop Exclusive Ingredients
Givaudan has unveiled the House of Naturals, an entity designed to further develop exclusive ingredients with a focus on consistent quality, craftsmanship and sustainable processes to meet the highest standards. Led by Maxence Billas, House of Naturals is said to expand the perfumer's range of possibilities.
Xavier Renard, global head of Fine Fragrance, shares, “House of Naturals reflects Givaudan's ambition to surpass the limits of ingredients mastery. With our future Centre of Excellence, Campus 52, that will be based in the heart of Grasse, we anchor ourselves in this territory where perfumery history and expertise converge. This new, creative innovation space is a milestone of our strategy, in addressing and anticipating our customers’ search for outstanding fragrances.”

2. Givaudan x Le Château du Clos Lucé Create "Leonard de Vinci et les parfums à la Renaissance” Exhibition
Givaudan partnered with Le Château du Clos Lucé for the “Leonard de Vinci et les parfums à la Renaissance” exhibition. In close collaboration with the event’s curators, Givaudan perfumers have created 28 fragrances to be showcased throughout the olfactory experience, designed to offer visitors a unique multisensory experience filled with history, sensation, and emotion with scents defining the Renaissance period.
The exhibition showcases exclusive fragrances developed by Givaudan perfumers including Calice Becker, Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège le Garlantezec, Rodrigo Flores Roux and Andréa Montanari.
Nadège Le Garlantezec, Givaudan perfumer, said, "Participating in this exhibition and contributing to the preservation of the history of perfumery is truly an honor. The Renaissance era offers an infinite fountain of inspiration to a perfumer.”
3. DSM-Firmenich Embraces Science-backed Holistic Well-being with New Branding
As the beauty industry moves in a more holistic direction, DSM-Firmenich has unveiled its new "Beauty & Care: A House of Science beyond Wellbeing" branding, reflecting an evolution from solely aesthetic benefits to solutions offering emotional and physical well-being, as well as sustainable credentials.

4. IFF Celebrates 40 Years of LMR Naturals & Monique Remy's Legacy
IFF celebrated the 40th anniversary of LMR Naturals, and the legacy of its visionary founder, Monique Remy, at this year’s SIMPPAR exhibition in Grasse. The was commemorated with the launch of an exclusive book, a retrospective of Remy’s life and achievements, published by Nez Editions.

5. Takasago International Corporation Inaugurates Mumbai Fragrance Center
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Takasago International Corporation (TIC), a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacture and marketing of flavors, fragrances, aroma Ingredients, and fine chemicals, inaugurated the Takasago International India Fragrance Center (TIIFC) in Mumbai. TIIFC is said to comprise fragrance research, creation and development, and sensory evaluation of fragrance products in an R&D setting by trained professionals.
In India, Takasago is represented by Takasago International India Pvt. Ltd. (TII) and is based in Chennai. TII’s customers include multi-national, large Indian business houses and MSME players in the FMCG segments in India. Takasago had invested in India and set up its own facility in Chennai in 2017 for Creation (R&D), Marketing and Manufacturing of F&F products since its inception in India in 2014.
