On October 16, 2025, the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) announced the appointment of John Savage as its new president. Savage currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Taste at Kerry.

Savage has more than 20 years of experience at Kerry and has held senior leadership roles across Europe, North America and Asia. In his current role, he lead’s the company’s global taste division. He succeeds Symrise CEO Jean-Yves Parisot, who chaired the IOFI Board since 2023.

“With over 20 years’ experience in Taste at Kerry, it’s a proud moment both personally and for the company to take on Kerry’s first IOFI presidential role,” Savage said. “I’m honored to represent IOFI, an organization that plays such a pivotal role in shaping the future of our industry. I look forward to working closely with the board, its members and the wider community.”

Founded in 1969, IOFI is the global association representing the industry that creates, produces and sells flavorings worldwide. With 18 national and regional associations and 11 major global companies as members, IOFI provides a forum for dialogue and scientific cooperation across the international flavor community.
