Angel Yeast Launches Feravor Natural Flavor Solution

Biotech company Angel Yeast announced the launch of its Feravor series, a flavored yeast solution available in floral-fruity and butter variants, at Europe’s IBA 2025 and Asia’s China Bakery Exhibition.

According to the company’s press release, Ferafavor uses proprietary microbial fermentation technology  to elevate flavor complexity and extend product freshness. Company officials hope that this flavor solution will help product developers create more clean-label offerings in premium baked goods. 

“The core technology of these flavor yeasts lies in the strategic screening of target strains from traditional food sources and specialized environments, coupled with precision fermentation optimization,” said general manager of the Yeast and Strain Resource Technology Center Dr. Yafang Sun. “This enables natural aroma amplification in baked goods - achieving what artificial additives once promised, but through purely biological means.”

The Feravor series is available in two variations: Feravor-Rose and Feravor-Buttery. The flavor solutions are compatible with all bread varieties and work well with commercial baker’s yeast.
