
On May 6, 2025, Keystone Capital Management announced an investment partnership with flavor and fragrance company Penta Fine Ingredients. As part of the partnership, Keystone welcomed Mike Size as chief executive officer of Penta.
Penta was founded over four decades ago and is headquartered in West Caldwell, New Jersey. The company operates a 113,000-square-foot facility to manufacture ingredients for the flavor, fragrance and pharmaceutical markets.
“Penta has distinguished itself with an exceptional product portfolio and deep customer relationships built over decades,” said Chaoran Jin, managing director at Keystone Capital. “We are excited to support Mike and the Penta team as they leverage the company’s strengths to expand strategically and continue its growth trajectory.”
Prior to joining Penta, Size served as the president of ZoomEssence, and he held senior roles at Balchem Corporation, MANE Flavors, Givaudan, CP Kelco and The NutraSweet Company.

According to the company’s press release, Penta will be actively seeking acquisition opportunities in the ingredients and specialty chemical space.
