Firmenich joins the Renewable Carbon Initiative to partner with leading companies and accelerate the transition to renewable carbon.

The Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI) aims to support and hasten the transition from fossil carbon to renewable carbon for all organic chemicals and materials.
Boet Brinkgreve, president of ingredients, executive committee, Firmenich, said via a LinkedIn post, “This membership builds on our bold #ESG ambitions. By 2030, we are committed to delivering 70% of our perfumery and taste ingredients manufactured from renewable carbon sources from our #Sylvergreen platform.”
