Symrise Launches Eco-Friendly Deodorant Ingredient

Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) has developed SymDeo B125, an environmentally friendly/non-organochloride ingredient that helps fight body odor. The patent-pending ingredient operates by simultaneously controlling the growth of the bacteria responsible for body odor and disrupting the biofilm formed by C. xerosis bacteria. Targeted to work only on gram-positive bacteria, the material is gentle on the skin, protects natural skin flora and significantly reduces body odor. SymDeo B125 is recommended at a dose of 0.3-1.0%.
