Blackperfumers.com has announced the addition of 10 Black-owned fragrance brands to its website, as well as new funding opportunity listings and expanded fragrance industry career and job links. The website also celebrated National Teachers Appreciation Week this past May by cosponsoring a series of perfumery and STEM youth workshops.

The perfumery and STEM youth workshops were facilitated by Terees Western of FragranTed in collaboration with the Detroit Public Schools Community District and DAPCEP. The workshops introduced the art and science behind the fragrance industry to Detroit middle school youth.
