Marcella Di Mauro, trainee flavorist at Omega Ingredients, recently attended the three-week Flavourist Training Course developed by The British Society of Flavourists and University of Reading.
The course is supported by the International Federation of Essential Oil and Aroma Trades (IFEAT). The program included lectures, practical sessions and seminars from highly experienced flavorists and University specialists.
Di Mauro excelled during the course, achieving top scores on all her flavor presentations, particularly a savory flavor that impressed the tutors of the course. Di Mauro has also been invited to the IFEAT International Conference in Vancouver to receive her award in person.
