Taking after the growing rosé trend, Angry Orchard has released a rosé hard cider inspired by apple flavors and floral aromas.

Angry Orchard cider makers were influenced by the fruit-forward elements of rosé wine, which is derived from fermented fruit-like cider. They used red flesh apples from Brittany, France blended with the juices of six apple varieties to create its bright apple flavor and rosy hue and complimented with hibiscus and light tannins. The end result was a flavor profile featuring a medium mouthfeel with a bright apple finish and floral aroma.

"The rare red flesh apples used in our rosé not only impart complex flavors but contribute to the cider's beautiful rosy hue. It's crisp, refreshing, and unlike any other style we have crafted," said Ryan Burk, head cider maker of Angry Orchard.
