FMA Provides Clarification on NY Phthalate Legislation

A recent bulletin issued by the Fragrance Materials Association provides words of comfort for the fragrance industry in the wake of proposed anti-phthalate legislation in New York state. The organization points out that diethyl phthalate is not among the suggested banned materials intended for "child care articles."  The news stands in stark contrast to recent issues in California.
