Fragrance Foundation Arabia Discusses Adopting Regulations

Fragrance Foundation Arabia and Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (Esma) are forming a committee to establish regulations for the fragrance industry in the United Arab Emirates. The committee would create standards that incorporate criteria from local and worldwide markets, and fragrance manufacturers and retailers would have six months to make any changes necessary. Shahzad Haider, chairman of Fragrance Foundation Arabia, is hoping people from within the industry will come forward with input on standards and implementation.
