The botanical origin of Spanish sage oil is Salvia lavandulaefolia Vahl (or S. lavandulifolia). Spanish sage oil is exclusively produced from plants that can grow as an alternative and sustainable crop in poor soil throughout the semi-arid areas of Central Spain.
