2-Acetylthiazole (FEMA# 3328, CAS# 24295-03-2) naturally occurs in asparagus, cooked or boiled potatoes, roasted turkey, raw chicken and many more flavors. Possible applications include nutty, meaty and popcorn-oriented flavors. Odor: @ 0.1%. Nutty, popcorn, roasted peanuts, hazelnut. Taste: @ 30 ppm. Corn chip with a slight musty background.
