After four long years, World Perfumery Congress (WPC) returned to Miami, hosting over 1,300 attendees from around the globe. Industry professionals were able to safely reconnect face-to-face while exploring a slew of exhibitors showcasing new ingredients, technologies and innovations in fragrance.
After four long years, World Perfumery Congress (WPC) returned to Miami, hosting over 1,300 attendees from around the globe. Industry professionals were able to safely reconnect face-to-face while exploring a slew of exhibitors showcasing new ingredients, technologies and innovations in fragrance.
Speaking of innovation, industry experts took the conference stage to discuss the latest innovations, challenges and opportunities in the fragrance industry. From anticipating trends in the post-COVID landscape to evolving sustainability practices to formulation insights, speakers shared industry gems for all.
WPC 2022 also hosted a handful of networking events, including an opening cocktail reception sponsored by Quintis, as well as the Fragrance Reunion Celebration, allowing guests to mingle, dance and reconnect.
For the first time ever, WPC also hosted “An Evening of Fragrance Excellence” to close out the three-day affair. The event featured award presentations by the American Society of Perfumers (ASP), Quintis Sandalwood and The Institute for Art and Olfaction. Givaudan's Olivier Gillotin received the ASP’s Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award. ASP’s president Vince Kuczinski received the William Lambert Service Award.
