The National Association of Flavors and Food-Ingredient Systems (NAFFS) announced it will hold its latest technical meeting on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Newark Airport Hotel in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The meeting’s program features networking opportunities and presentations on flavor industry trends and happenings. Speakers include Dr. Suzanne Johnson, director of flavor design and development at McCormick, discussing “The Reality of Flavor Perception"; Rodger Jonas, director of national sales at P.L. Thomas, talking about calcium’s transportation and deposition in the body in “K2 for Improved Calcium Utilization"; and Dr. Howard Moskowitz, president of Moskowitz Jacobs, presenting on consumer decision-making science in “Mind Genomics: New Continents of the Mind.” The meeting will conclude with a networking lunch, and more information is available at www.naffs.org.
