Earlier this month, the Asia Fragrance Festival brought together regional creators and global industry stakeholders under the theme “Connecting Asian Fragrance, Dialoguing with the Global Perfume Industry.” Held April 11–12, 2026 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the event showcased the growing influence of Asian perfumery, featuring brands from across Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia alongside a robust program of forums, workshops and sensory experiences.
Across two days, discussions spanned storytelling in scent, sustainability, data-driven trend forecasting and cross-border market strategies, highlighting both the creative diversity and commercial momentum of the region. Aurélie Colin-Thévenet

Collaborations with France’s GCC network underscored the festival’s international ambitions, positioning scent as a cultural and economic bridge. By combining exhibitions, educational sessions and hands-on perfume-making, the event reflected a broader shift: Asian fragrance is no longer emerging—it is actively shaping the global olfactory landscape.
