Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) will host “I Heart FLVR: Celebrating the Taste of Truffles” on October 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Consulate General of France, 934 Fifth Avenue, in New York City.
Along with a tasting session, the event will provide an education on truffles. Opening remarks from Vittorio Giordano, vice president of Urbani Truffles USA, will be followed by flavor insights from Marie Wright, vice president & chief global flavorist, Wild Flavors Inc.
Feasts & Fêtes Catering will prepare the truffle-inspired hors d’oeuvres. Jean-Christophe Le Picart, president of Feasts & Fêtes Catering, and John Wright, veteran flavorist, author and Perfumer & Flavorist columnist, will collaborate on wine and champagne selections.
