Fona Promotes One, Hires Four New Employees

Fona International Inc. announced the promotion of Miriam Walsh, as well as four new hires for the company.

Walsh was named senior sales service associate, emerging, a position in which she will provide support and coordination expertise throughout the service delivery process and be the communication liaison between the sales team and the labs.

For the new hires, Nadine Farran Gatti was named an account executive for Fona Canada. She has more than 20 years of account experience, 10 of which have been in the flavor industry, and comes to Fonawith a strong record of achievement with major Canadian food industry customers.

Jennifer Fitzgerald has come to Fona as an application technologist, grain. With previous experience in the food/drink ingredient industry and product development, she has worked with customers to develop ingredients for products that met their needs and their consumers' demands.

Tom Fox has been named business development manager for confections and global key accounts director. He will be working closely with the confection and sales teams, leading new business development in the global confections market and new core growth areas. He brings broad knowledge of the food industry and confections market, and experience in global account management, sales and marketing management, and business development.

And Julie Talkington has been named a scientist, grain. She joins Fona with experience in product development, covering a broad spectrum of food products from baked goods and coatings to inclusions and seasoning blends.
