RIFM announced the appointment of Christina Hickey to its postdoctoral scientist position. Hickey will be the fourth scientist to hold the training position, which has been customized specifically for the fragrance industry. In May, she will receive her doctorate in environmental medicine health sciences with a concentration in inhalation toxicology from New York University. She received her BS in biology, with minors in chemistry and psychology, from Manhattan College. Hickey also was an adjunct professor at Manhattan College and previously served as a research assistant at there, assisting with developmental genetics research, and at the Bronx Zoo Animal Health Center, Bronx, NY.
