Vigon International, Inc. has completed its first batch of hand sanitizer for the local community.

In efforts to help support the local community, Vigon International has re-routed production to produce the World Health Organization's formula for hand sanitizer. The target is for the alcohol-based hand rub to be dispersed to local organizations that are having supply shortages.

These include hospitals, urgent care facilities, emergency response services, senior centers and retirement homes, as well as any other organizations supporting an underserved population within the community.

Vigon Employees are currently packaging the hand sanitizer into one-gallon containers, which will be distributed in cases of four, free of charge to any organization in need.

The first completed batch was comprised of 300 gallons is just the beginning as Vigon possesses the capacity to provide much more should the demand continue to rise.
