Further re-enforcing its commitments to nature and climate action, Givaudan has signed up to Business for Nature’s “Nature is Everyone’s Business” call-to-action.

“Nature is Everyone’s Business” brings together more than 500 companies—with a combined revenue of $4 trillion—urging governments to adopt policies now that reduce nature loss in the 2020s. The full list of signatories was unveiled Sept. 21, 2020, as the UN General Assembly adopted its 75th declaration.

“The ongoing pandemic together with the climate crisis means that coming together to protect nature is more vital than ever,” said Givaudan CEO Gilles Andrier. “A challenge on this scale requires collaboration across businesses, governments and society and we’re proud to be part of this powerful call-to-action.”

He continued: “We are already taking bold action across our business to show our love for nature in everything we do as a key goal of our purpose and through our B Corp ambition. We look forward to continuing to work with other like-minded businesses that are helping to drive change and acting as a force for good in the world.”
