Firmenich (Geneva, Switzerland) has opened its new affiliate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 500 sq-m facility, located in Dubai Biotechnology & Research Park (DuBiotech), includes an office and laboratory facilities; sales, marketing and development teams for fine fragrances; and solutions and technical teams for flavors. The new office aims to strengthen Firmenich’s presence in the Gulf region, deepen its understanding of local consumers and markets, and offer fragrances and flavors adapted to local tastes. Of this, Firmenich CEO, Patrick Firmenich said, “Firmenich flavors and fragrances create moments of happiness in the daily lives of billions of people around the world.
