He brings more than 33 years of cross-category industry experience in fine fragrance, personal care and air care to the role, most recently with Mane. Krivda began his career at Firmenich, where he trained under Elie Roger and Harry Fremont. He also spent time at Fragrance Resources and Givaudan.
Krivda will be based out of drom’s New York City fragrance design studio; the move is the latest in the company’s effort to revamp its U.S. strategy. Under Bertrand Lemont’s leadership U.S. operations have been undergoing a renewal process, driving business with mid-size domestic brands.
“Jim is a great fit for drom. He shares our philosophy of unlimited creativity and collective success, which enables us to service our clients with customized and innovative fragrances,” said Lemont. “We are very happy to welcome him to our perfumery team in the U.S.”
