Flavor & Fragrance Specialties Adds Five New Hires

Flavor & Fragrance Specialties Inc. (FFS) has added a number of new hires.

The company's regulatory department named Kathleen Rubino as senior regulatory affairs associate. Rubino previously worked at The Wercs, where she provided senior level support to flavor and fragrance companies on SDS sheets, GHS classifications and global regulatory compliance.

The FFS analytical lab has added Vanessa Lopez as an analytical chemist. Lopez has seven years of analytical experience in the fragrance industry, and was a perfumer apprentice with the American Society of Perfumers (ASP) in her previous job.  

Juan Velez has joined the fragrance applications lab as a fragrance applications specialist. Velez has 12 years of experience from his previous employment at Belmay Inc., where he specialized in preparing and evaluating customer stabilities for personal and home care.  

Laura Hickey has joined FFS as a quality control technician in FFS's Baltimore production facility. Hickey was recently the quality manager for Chesapeake Specialty Products. She will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and developing testing protocols for raw materials and finished products.

Also, the company's marketing department has named Kelly Seecharran as the new flavor marketing specialist.
