New perfume label, Snif, offers at-home trials of luxury-level genderless scents for consumers.

Each of the brand’s fragrances are cruelty-free, vegan, and made in accordance with clean industry standards. New to the industry, Snif, made its debut with its fall 2020 launch includes three 30 ml fragrances:
Salty Stares: Notes of bell pepper, bergamot, lily of the valley, ginger and oakmoss.
Ex on the Beach: Notes of fig, ylang ylang, orange blossom, jasmine, peony and cedarwood.
Way with Woods: Notes of white tea, mandarin, sandalwood, amber woods, vetiver and musk.
Here’s how it works:
- Order the bundle or single scent kit you’re interested in. Snif will put a temporary, recurring hold on your card for the full order amount during your trial period.
- You’ll receive your kit with full-size bottles and samples of each scent.
- After the trial is over, Snif will only charge your card for the full-size bottles you keep.
- Users can submit their returns online by the end of the trial period. You’ll receive prepaid shipping labels to return the unopened full-size bottles.
This method is ideal for consumers who prefer online shopping and those not yet comfortable returning to the perfume counter at their local department store.

The bundle kit retails for $150 and includes three 30 ml fragrances plus 2 ml samples. Snif offers free shipping and returns.
Snif also released a collab with American singer-songwriter Harry Hudson. The scent offers notes of lemongrass, lavender, basil, black currant, jasmine, neroli, gnida flower, patchouli and woods. The 30 ml bottle retails for $65. This limited-edition scent is final sale and is excluded from the brand’s trial program.
