Fragrance brand Floris London is set to launch its latest scent, Neroli Voyage.
Inspired by the life of Robert Floris and a modern-day expedition from Antibes, France to Corsica, Italy conducted by the brand’s perfumery director; Edward Bodenham, the fragrance features top notes of neroli, lemon and marine; heart notes of jasmine, ginger, neroli and fennel seed; and base notes of oak, amber and musk. The fragrance will be available starting May 2, 2019, and will come in a 100ml bottle.

Commenting on the fragrance’s inspiration, Bodenham said: “As the 9th generation of the family, I had a strong desire to walk in the footsteps of Robert to understand better how his letters translated to these landscapes, and how those same settings could inspire us in the 21st century… When taking the boat across to Bastia, as Robert did you become aware of the aromatic scent of the island’s maquis shrubland before you arrive. I’m told by the locals it’s a smell they associate with coming home which I found extremely poignant.”
