A new player is entering the guilt-free dessert game: Ben & Jerry’s has launched Moo-phoria, a line of lower fat, lower calorie cream.
A half cup serving ranges from 140-160 calories, depending on the flavor. As with all the brand’s flavors, the range contains no sugar substitutes or sugar alcohols.
The range is debuting with three flavors, each with a base of organic milk and cream:
- Caramel Cookie Fix: Light vanilla ice cream, shortbread cookies and a salted caramel swirl.
- PB Dough: Light chocolate ice cream and gobs of chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough.
-
Chocolate Milk & Cookies: Light chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate chip cookies.
Moo-phoria will be available at grocery stores nationwide, as well as online and at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops.
“Ben & Jerry’s tries to offer a little bit of something for everyone,” said Dena Wimette, senior innovation manager. “We’re excited to have an incredible new option for our fans who say they can’t be trusted with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s in their freezers.”
