On October 6, 2011, the Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) UK chapter will hold its WFFC UK Symposium at the Tavistock Hotel in London. Also including a lunch and the chance to network with industry colleagues, the symposium will feature two presentations on the F&F industry. The first, from Paul Isherwood, director of innovation, external networks and partnerships at GlaxoSmithKline Nutrition is titled “With a Little Help from My Friends,” and it will discuss working with external partners, collaborating across industries, and how innovations and trends in food and drink are disseminating across various markets and marketplaces. The second presentation, “Follow Your Nose,” will be from Penny Williams of Orchadia, and it will explore the sense of smell and olfactive communication.
