The 2014 World Perfumery Congress will take place June 10-12 in Deauville, France, and will focus on The Future of Fragrance.
Speaker and session details, in addition to exhibitor listings, are now available.
Registration for one-, two- and three-day passes is now open.
On June 10, Jeff Falk, editor in chief of GCI and Cosmetics & Toiletries, Allured Business Media, and Sandy Gregory, fragrance marketing director, MWV, will discuss "The Role of Packaging in the Sensory Experience of Products."
The session abstract notes:
"The look and feel of a product’s packaging—even down to the noise it makes—can impact perception of a brand. MWV research demonstrates that how a fragrance spray feels during application can actually enhance the consumer’s emotional connection to a product identity and help elevate their perception of a brand. The more positive the experience, the more likely the consumer is to choose the fragrance brand again."
