Citrus and Allied Essences Ltd. Rebrands Medallion International Corporation

Medallion International Corporation, which was purchased by Citrus and Allied Essences Ltd. in 2021, has rebranded itself as a fully integrated compounded fragrance division of C&A and announced an official name change to Medallion Fragrances.

The Pisano and Boudjouk families have come together to develop fragrances, complex extracts, extract blends and custom solutions for personal care, home care and the industrial and institutional industries. Medallion Fragrances offers access to an extensive portfolio of essential oils, aroma chemicals and botanical extracts.

Richard C. Pisano Jr., president of Citrus & Allied Essences Ltd., said, “We are thrilled to welcome Medallion International Corporation to the Citrus & Allied Essences Ltd. family. Medallion has built an impressive portfolio of fragrances to serve the personal care, home care and I&I markets, which we intend to build and offer customers exceptional, experiential, and functional products."

As part of the Citrus & Allied Essences Ltd. family, Medallion Fragrances will continue to operate its Pompton Plains, NJ facility and develop innovative fragrances and custom solutions led by Paula Boudjouk, Medallion’s president.

The rebrand includes the name change, a new logo (see below), and website designed by the Costello Creative Group. To reflect the name change, the website has been changed to medallionfragrances.com.

George Costello, founder/CEO of Costello Creative Group, said that the new logo “uses a bold font choice and brand mark with enduring quality, deep-rooted history, and tradition. It is paired with a flourishing bloom, which expands outwards and promises a new beginning."
