Givaudan Completes Acquisition of DDW, The Color House

In October 2021, Givaudan announced the initial discussion of the acquisition of DDW, The Color Housea U.S.-based natural color company. According to a recent release, as of December 9, 2021, the acquisition is now completed.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed and Givaudan debt funded the transaction. DDW’s business would have represented approximately $140 million of incremental sales to Givaudan’s results in 2020 on a proforma basis.     

Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, DDW is a privately-held company in the natural color industry, with 12 manufacturing facilities around the world and 315 associates. This acquisition expands Givaudan's portfolio of its global Taste & Wellbeing business.
