Fashion house John Varvatos announced the launch of its latest fragrance, XX Elixir, timed with the brand’s 25th anniversary. The fragrance will launch alongside the anniversary campaign, titled “A Love Letter to New York.”
“Our newest fragrance is a testament to the fearless spirit of innovation and sophistication that defines the John Varvatos brand,” said vice president of creative Karl Aberg. “XX Elixir is a bold statement in the world of fragrance, designed to widen the horizons of traditional masculinity.”
The brand worked with Revlon Fragrances to develop the XX Elixir fragrance, which features notes of red ginger, bergamot and tonka bean. The fragrance is encased in a nearly opaque black glass with gold accents. Brand officials hope that the packaging and scent will be “an even bolder, ultra-luxurious introduction to the XX fragrance line.”

John Varvatos XX Elixir will launch online at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Belk, Boscov’s, Amazon and the brand’s website on September 1, with in-store availability beginning in mid-September.
