Givaudan Active Beauty has introduced its latest artificial intelligence-inspired tool, Eve, to identify the perfect match between a product brief and the company's extensive portfolio of active ingredients.

Eve guides users through the process of creating a product using input from a customer brief. Among the data that Eve requires includes the target consumer profiles, expected launch date, regulatory needs, the positioning of the product, the product's claims, formula type and retail price of the product. The application then computes these diverse factors and suggests the best ingredients that match the customer’s wish list. These suggestions are summarized in a report and emailed to the customer.

“Digital is at the heart of our innovation strategy. In a fast-moving environment, we bring the latest technologies to our customers to help them save time and speed up the product development process. EVE can already compute over two million options to make the lives of our customers easier and to let them focus on their business,” said Justine Catala, digital marketing project manager for Givaudan.
