Coriander Seed and Leaf Oils In 1992, Nitz et al. used GC/MS to characterize the composition of a distilled oil of coriander and compare it with that of a supercritical fluid (SFC) extract of coriander. They found that the oil contained the following major compounds:

linalool (63%) γ-terpinene (9%) α-pinene (8%) limonene (4%) camphor (4%) geranyl acetate (2%)
