TANAKA Precious Metal Group collaborated with its in-house innovation organization, TANAKA MIRAI Lab, to develop a perfume that expresses the essence of gold. This fragrance, which is limited to 1,000 bottles and will not be for sale, is part of the company’s Precious Fragrance Project launched last year.
TANAKA, founded in 1885, is a leader in Japan for precious metals and serves a variety of industries. Its innovation arm, TANAKA MIRAI Lab, was created to conduct research derived from “precious and rare value.”
According to the company’s press release, The Precious Fragrance Project was created as a way to develop new and unique experiences for TANAKA’s customers. The fragrance is described as a “noble, floral, oriental scent” with notes of rose, iris and oud.
“The moment someone puts it on, the fragrance unfolds with a radiant golden glow, evoking the dazzling brilliance of gold,” the press release states.
TANAKA plans to continue the Precious Fragrance collection in the future by developing scents based on metals such as silver and platinum.
