This high impact flavor ingredient imparts powerful sulfur and fresh fried garlic notes with a hint of grapefruit. At lower levels, Carvyl Acetate cis-L is useful in mint, herbs and spices, and fruit flavors. It improves the pungent impact and gives body by increasing the sulfury character in onion flavors; use levels in food range from 0.5 ppb–10 ppm.
