The Fragrance Foundation (New York), in cooperation with Cosmetic World, hosted the State of the Industry luncheon on November 14 in Manhattan. The luncheon was followed by a panel discussion regarding the state of the economy and how it dictates consumer-purchasing habits. Darby Dunn (CNBC and CNBC.com) served as moderator for the discussion along with panelists Gilbert Harrison (Financo), Lynn Franco (The Conference Board) and Christopher Ferrara.
Of the event, The Fragrance Foundation president Rochelle Bloom said, “It is great to have it all come together as it did with a strong panel that prompted intelligent and thoughtful dialogue. I think everyone benefited from the panelist presentations and how each related to fragrance retail activity for the pre-holiday and post-holiday periods.”
