On January 15, 2025, global ingredient company Solina announced its acquisition of Advanced Food Systems, a supplier of custom dry seasoning solutions for food manufacturers.
Advanced Food Systems, located in New Jersey, provides customized ingredient systems for a variety of applications, including meat and poultry products, frozen foods, sauces and marinades. Under the signed agreement, 40 employees from Advanced Food Systems will join Solina USA.

Solina’s chief executive officer Anthony Francheterre added, “With Advanced Food Systems, Solina has acquired a company with a complementary business, industrial strategy, and operational practices. Like Solina USA, Advanced Food Systems combines market and consumer insights with culinary expertise, R&D infrastructure, and innovation to support and guide its customers with unique value-added services in ingredient flavor and function.”
