Panels tackling sustainability, traceability and even shining a light on some of the fresher faces in fragrance are also set to take on the main stage. Be sure to secure your ticket for one, two or all three days of WPC at worldperfumerycongress.com.
Formulation Series
WPC is set to host a two-part "Formulating with Woods" series. First up is Berjé perfumer, Michelle Bruckmann. The 30-minute talk will highlight a handful of woody ingredients, including cedarwood, and how she uses each differently in formulations. Bruckmann will also touch on the sustainability aspects of each highlighted ingredient.
Immediately following, Quintis picks up the tail end of the two-part presentation series. The session will highlight sandalwood, as well as a selection of other woody ingredients, and how perfumery education consultant, Pierre Bénard, assembles each in formulations.
Fresh Fragrances
Be sure to stick around for the final day of WPC to witness the “Fresh Faces in Fragrance” panel. Shining a light on some of the newer brands in the fragrance industry, the panel is set to host a line-up of fragrance line founders who have joined the industry over the last few years. Panelists will share insight on their fragrance launch journey, challenges along the way and their view on the future of the industry for indie brands.
The panel includes the following founders:
- Keta Burke-Williams, co-founder of Aspen Apothecary
- Chris Collins, founder of World of Chris Collins
- Itika Oldwine Grimble, founder of OldVine Fragrance
Experience the Latest in Fragrance
In addition to the sessions hosted by the industry’s global innovation leaders, the event will feature a bustling expo hall featuring beautiful fragrance ingredients from every corner of the globe, as well as the latest scent technology innovations.
