During the Board of Directors meeting in February 2021, Kao repurchased 2,520,000 shares of common stock of the company, which totaled to 18,122,282,700 yen.

Common stock of the company was repurchased from March 1 through March 31, 2021 from that market at the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
