With the safety of its employees and their families, as well as customers and partners, Iberchem has taken a series of measures to ensure their well-being while still maintaining worldwide customer support.

China being its second largest operation site globally, Iberchem’s efforts in solving the crisis locally helped the company to learn to handle similar situations on other sites. As a result, Iberchem has implemented a series of policies to protect its local teams, while still minimizing the risk of disruption to business.

So far, the measures taken in China have proven effective, as none of the company’s employees have been affected by the virus and all of its facilities are operating normally.

The company is closely following the situation in each country where Iberchem Group has a subsidiary. Actions are being taken depending on the gravity of the situation and are always aligned with the protocols and guidelines established by the World Health Organization and local health authorities.

Iberchem’s approach is flexible, and when it is necessary, officials are adapting as the situation evolves.

At the head office, the company is promoting awareness of the correct behavior to avoid contamination, as well as implementing thorough sterilization and sanitizing protocols across all manufacturing facilities and extending the cleaning of offices and installations.

Also, Iberchem has prohibited large group gatherings (maximum of four people) and implemented new schedule arrangements for employees. All business travelling has been suspended; however, commercial assistance can still be addressed by phone or through video conferences.

Finally, Iberchem is also working closely with suppliers and logistic partners asking them for their collaboration in applying similar sterilization and sanitation protocols.
