Fragrance Creators has developed a resource to support its members as states continue their rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.

Fragrance Creators has worked with the Federal Government to bring attention to fragrance’s role in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Building on its previous success of ensuring the fragrance industry is classified as essential by CISA, Fragrance Creators submitted comments to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) regarding vaccine prioritization for essential workers.

In its December 2020 recommendations for allocation of the COVID-19 vaccine, ACIP recommends that essential workers be included in either rounds 1b or 1c for vaccination. Each state further develops its own distribution plan. Many state vaccination plans point to the ACIP vaccination guidelines and, therefore, make similar recommendations about when essential workers, like those in the fragrance industry, should be vaccinated.
This new Fragrance Creators resource can help members to determine vaccine eligibility by providing easy-to-access links to state vaccination plans and state vaccination websites as well as information about current vaccination phases.
