Latin American Beauty Awards Recognize Firmenich, IFF

Beauty industry professionals recently gathered at Credicard Hall in São Paulo for the Atualidade Cosmética Awards, a celebration of the best of the perfumery and cosmetics in Latin America. Among the winners was the brand Jequiti, receiving the Aparício Basílio trophy, which highlights the best Latin America Creation for Men, for a home fragrance created by Firmenich, Aire Electric, which was developed by perfumer Maria Tereza Belotti. Additionally, the Glamour Secrets Rose fragrance, created by IFF perfumers perfumers: Marion Costero and Olivier Polge for O Boticário, won the Aparício Basílio trophy for best Latin America Creation for Women, and one of the largest honors of the night went to Antonio Amador, a perfumer with IFF. Having spent 47 years dedicated to the art of perfumery, Amador is now responsible for training “the noses of the future.” Recognizing his career and work, he is now the newest member of the Atualidade Cosmética's Hall of Fame.
