Flavor Systems International (FSI; Cincinnati) has added 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its West Chester, Ohio plant to include freezers, coolers, warm rooms and food-grade product compounding areas. Of the expansion, FSI president Bill Wasz said, “With so many other organizations struggling, we are thankful that our business is continuing to grow and that the efforts of all of those at FSI are being reflected in our success.” The company’s future plans include setting up of additional research and development laboratories, remodeling of its USDA flavor plant and installing new spray drying equipment.
