Bell Flavors & Fragrances has received certification for the production of Organic Certified flavors at its Northbrook facility.
The certification includes more than 100 flavors within the liquid compounding, spray dry and dry blend manufacturing areas.
Quality Assurance International (QAI) defines organic as “produce and other organic ingredients in retail products … grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms or ionizing radiation. Animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs and dairy products are not given antibiotics or growth hormones.”
