Takasago International Corp.'s U.S. flavor division has named Colin Scott as global category director, savory, reflecting the company’s focus on savory products.
Scott operates from the flavor division’s European headquarters near Cologne, Germany.
“Colin’s achievements in this position reflect the flavor division’s focus on the savory segment in the global arena,” said Brian Buck, senior vice president and general manager, Takasago International Corp.'s U.S. flavor division. "[His] 25 years of flavor industry experience make him uniquely suited to implementing an integrated global savory focus that is resulting in Takasago’s ongoing growth through the most advanced savory technology,” Buck added.
Scott has worked for Takasago since 2012. As the company’s savory sales director, he defined a five-year approach to transforming Takasago into a major savory flavor supplier during which the segment's revenue posted double-digit growth.
