LVMH has reported nine-month 2023 revenue for its perfumes and cosmetics business grew organically by 12%, year-over-year, totaling 6,021 million euros.

Revenue for Q1 totaled 2,115 million euros, while Q2 and Q3 revenue totaled 1,913 million euros and 1,993 million euros, respectively.

Perfume and cosmetic highlights for the first nine months of the year included Christian Dior, particularly Miss Dior and J’adore, as well as Francis Kurkdjian’s L’Or de J’adore. Sauvage also continued to perform strongly.

Dior Addict in makeup and prestige in skin care also drove growth, according to LVMH. Guerlain's growth was powered by the Aqua Allegoria scents and the premium fragrance collection l’Art et la Matière. Guerlain's Terracotta Le Teint makeup has also done well.

LVMH reported that Parfums Givenchy's results were driven by fragrance, while Benefit’s growth was driven by the new Fan Fest mascara and the ongoing popularity of Pore Care.

Looking ahead, the company noted, "In an uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, the group is confident in the continuation of its growth and will maintain a strategy focused on continuously enhancing the desirability of its brands, drawing on the authenticity and quality of its products, excellence in distribution and agile organization."
