For Eath Day 2021, Bolloré Logistics USA took the initiative to involve its customers and raise awareness on sustainable development.

The day included a live presentation on low-carbon maritime transport solutions to explain the sustainability challenges that this type of transport faces to the company's customers. 

Bolloré Logistics USA, Brazil, Argentina and Chile have also committed to planting more than 5,000 trees in 2021 in the emblematic Patagonian forest, on behalf of its customers.

This year, Bolloré Logistics' customers have contributed to offset 2,375 tons of CO2.

Bolloré Logistics has also come together with its customers to organize design thinking workshops on innovation, with a particular focus on transport and sustainable logistics.

A training plan and an e-learning program on the environmental challenges of the company's activities have also been deployed, enabling the sales teams to better support its customers on these issues.

Camille Vanderghote, CSR manager Americas, said, "In 2021, Bolloré Logistics USA aims to further involve its customers in its CSR initiatives. There are numerous existing solutions to reduce the environmental impact of transport and logistics: sustainable fuel for aviation, biofuel for maritime and road transport, implementing alternative transport plans, using reusable packaging, etc. We are committed to making these solutions accessible to our clients and to encouraging them to integrate them into the management of their activities. We are looking forward to continuing on this path and developing more joint CSR actions with our customers in the future."
